"We started looking at local real estate a year before we were ready to make our purchase. I contacted Terry about one of his listings and immediately took note of his quick response to my many, many, many questions and his consistently very sound advice. We corresponded by email for a year (I asked many, many more questions), discussing listings that would come up and their unique features. My husband and I finally met with Terry for a tour in May, 2016. He showed us the homes currently available that met our requirements. The market availability is slim pickings for our parameters, yet we walked through and evaluated each one that was on the market. Terry patiently went through each property recognizing none of them were the one for us, knowing that we lived far away and would not be able to come back for another look for at least several months. He was never pushy or trying to talk us into a property. We learned a lot that day! We spent the next few months comparing potential properties online. "Terry is amazing! He has over 24 years experience and it shows. You cannot put a value on experience. Terry made what could have been a very stressful experience into a very smooth and easy process. Initially, we signed with Terry to sell our home. Because we lived on a property with acreage, there were new challenges we hadn't experienced before. Terry explained the process to us, helped us through every challenge, keeping us informed throughout the process, until all was completed. We sold our home the first weekend it was on the market and got more than the asking price! We then started looking for a home to purchase and found one we really liked. We called Terry and he got on it right away. We got the price we wanted to pay for the home and were overjoyed. Great Communication!
"I felt Terry to have my best interest at heart. He was honest and willing to put in the time to sell my property. My house was difficult to sell as it was built in 1933 and was zoned as commercial property. This made it harder to sell as banks would not loan on it thus a commercial buyer was needed. A buyer was found but in the process of procuring a commercial loan, it was discovered that the house had structural problems involving the basement walls with a price tag of $10 to $14,000. The commercial loan company also required a new roof costing another $6000 plus. The buyers counter offer would not have left me with much profit and they would have bought a double lot with a well for irrigation plus being a commercial lot it the middle of town next to a city lot owned by the city for next to nothing. Terry and I discussed it and then made a "take it as is" offer that left me with the ability to buy another house and leave the headaches of an old house behind me. Once the sale was secured, Terry found me a house in Eagle Point that was more than I could have hoped for and at a price under what I was willing to spend. It is to be noted that he is also willing to represent me in resolving a drainage issue at the new house with the contractor and his agent. As an agent I especially liked that he was timely, made every attempt to communicate with you so he was on the same page with you and he did not give up on the sale.
